If you work from home, take calls, have a napping baby, or have anxious pets, leaving for the loud parts of the day is more comfortable, but it is a preference, not a requirement.
The crew works on the outside of the house and on the roof, so the inside stays yours the whole time. Water, power, and bathrooms all keep working.
