On a tile roof, matching is usually easy since tiles can be reset. On aged shingle, a new patch can stand out against faded old shingle.

The rest of the roof is fine, so replacing all of it would be spending money you do not need to spend. Fixing the one area gets you back to watertight for a fraction of the cost.
